AI video dubbing: translate speech into another language

AI dubbing turns the speech in a video into a new language by combining transcription, translation and speech generation. In Voixie you can select source and target languages, choose an available voice or eligible voice clone, and preview the result before publishing.

How to dub a video in Voixie

  1. 1.

    Upload and select languages

Upload a video you have permission to process. Select its spoken language and a target language supported by the selected voice engine. Clear speech with little overlap gives you a better starting point.

  2. 2.

Choose a voice and review the text

Choose an available voice, or a voice clone if your plan and engine support it. Where the review option is available, correct names, terminology and translation before generating the dubbed speech.

  3. 3.

    Preview timing and export

Listen to the full result and check sentence timing against the picture. Background music restoration and lip sync are separate options with their own limits and credit costs. A paid web plan is required to download the resulting audio or video.

AI dubbing questions

Can I dub an English video into Turkish?

Yes. Select English as the source and Turkish as the target, then choose an engine and voice that support Turkish. Review pronunciation, names and translated sentences before sharing the finished video.

Does AI dubbing also change lip movements?

Dubbing creates the translated voice track. Lip sync adjusts visible mouth movements and is a separate step. If you only need translated speech or subtitles, lip sync is not required.

Will dubbing preserve my voice and background music?

Voice cloning and background music restoration are optional and depend on the selected engine, plan and source audio. They are not a guarantee of an identical voice or a perfectly isolated soundtrack. Only clone voices you have permission to use.
