AI lip sync for dubbed videos

Lip sync adjusts visible mouth movements to follow a speech track. Use it after dubbing when a person is visible on screen, or with a video and replacement audio. It complements video translation; it does not translate the dialogue itself.

Prepare a lip sync video

  1. 1.

    Start with the right shot

Use a clear, visible face and a short test clip. A face hidden by hands, rapid cuts or a strong side angle can make the result less consistent.

  2. 2.

    Choose the final audio

Review the translated voice track before running lip sync. Changing the words or timing afterward can require another lip sync pass.

  3. 3.

    Preview the face and timing

Check the mouth, teeth and facial expression throughout the clip. Compare the result with the original before export. The tool shows the available trial, credit cost and plan requirements.

Lip sync questions

Do I need lip sync for every dubbed video?

No. Narration over screen recordings, slides or footage without a visible speaker can use dubbing alone. Lip sync is useful when matching a visible speaker to replacement speech.

Does lip sync translate my video?

No. First generate translated speech with the dubbing tool, then use the finished track for lip sync. Translation and lip sync are different steps.

Can I download a lip sync preview for free?

You can preview within the trial and credit limits shown in the tool. Downloading the resulting video requires a paid web plan.
