AI dubbing for online courses and training videos
Course videos are long, full of technical terms and usually narrated by one instructor. Voixie dubs each lesson into another language, keeps your terminology consistent with a glossary, and lets you read and correct every translated line before the voice is generated. Slides and screen recordings need no lip sync, which keeps the cost at the plain dubbing rate.
How to dub a course
- 1.
Add your lessons
Upload one lesson, or several at once: each is transcribed and translated in the background, and you open them one by one when you are ready. Put a course in its own folder in My Projects.
- 2.
Lock terms and review
Add product names, code terms and acronyms to the glossary, or mark them "Don't translate". In the Studio, correct any line, shorten lines that run too long and listen before you commit.
- 3.
Generate, then publish
Generate the dubbed lesson and download the MP4, the audio track and SRT subtitles in both languages for your course platform.
Built for lesson after lesson
- Glossary and "Don't translate" lists keep terminology the same in every lesson.
- Batch preparation: several lessons are transcribed and translated in the background.
- Save the instructor's voice from the Studio and reuse it in later lessons (paid plans with voice slots).
- The longest lesson per upload: 10 minutes on Free, 15 on Starter, 30 on Pro, 45 on Pro+ and 150 on Business.
- SRT subtitles in both languages for your LMS or video host.
Example: a 10-lesson course
Ten 8-minute lessons are 80 minutes of video. Voice-only dubbing costs 400 credits, which fits in the Pro plan (1000 credits for $19.99 a month). Lip sync is only needed when the instructor is on camera and costs 15 credits per 15 seconds, up to 2 minutes per job.
Pricing
Dubbing costs 5 credits per minute of video with Native Accent (7 with Voice Match), billed in started 15-second blocks. Keeping the original music and sound effects adds 3 credits per minute. On Starter that is about $0.11 per minute, or $0.18 with the background. Downloading the dubbed audio or video requires a paid plan; subtitle and text files can be downloaded on Free.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep technical terms and product names untranslated?
Yes. Add them to the glossary with a fixed translation, or mark them "Don't translate". The glossary is applied before the voice is generated.
Do course videos need lip sync?
Usually not. Narration over slides or screen recordings works with dubbing alone. For an instructor on camera, lip sync is a separate step: 15 credits per 15 seconds, up to 2 minutes per job, on a paid plan after a 15-second free trial.
Can I dub many lessons at once?
Yes. Upload several files together: each lesson is prepared in the background with the same language, speaker and background settings, and you review and send each one to dubbing when it looks right.
Will the instructor sound the same in every lesson?
On paid plans with voice slots you can save the voice used in the Studio and choose it again for the next lessons, so the instructor keeps one voice across the course.
