Translate a video from English to Spanish
Voixie translates the speech in an English video into Spanish and replaces it with a Spanish voice track. Choose Spanish for Spain or Latin American Spanish, review the translated lines, and download a dubbed video plus subtitles in both languages. If you only need Spanish subtitles, you can translate the SRT file instead.
How to translate an English video into Spanish
- 1.
Upload the English video
Upload the file or paste a YouTube or Google Drive link. English is detected automatically.
- 2.
Pick the Spanish variant
Choose Spanish (Spain) or Spanish (Latin America), then review the translation in the Studio: names, terms and lines that run too long.
- 3.
Generate and download
Generate the Spanish voice, optionally keep the original music, and download the MP4, the Spanish audio track and SRT subtitles in English and Spanish.
Spanish runs longer than English
A Spanish sentence is often longer than the English original, so a direct translation can sound rushed in the same time slot. Voixie's translation aims to keep each line close to the time the original speaker took, and in the Studio you can shorten a line before its voice is generated.

Frequently asked questions
Should I choose Spain or Latin American Spanish?
Pick the variant your audience speaks. Latin American Spanish suits viewers in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and the US; Spanish (Spain) suits viewers in Spain. Vocabulary and pronunciation differ between the two.
How much does it cost to translate a 10-minute English video into Spanish?
50 credits for the Spanish voice track, or 80 credits if you keep the original music and effects. New accounts get 50 free credits.
Can I get only Spanish subtitles?
Yes. Transcribe the video with Speech to Text, then translate the SRT with the subtitle translation tool (1 credit per 1,000 characters). The timecodes stay the same.
Does it work from Spanish to English too?
Yes. Upload a Spanish video and pick English (US) or English (UK) as the target. The same steps apply to other language pairs.
